About Us (In English)

About us
We are the third Certified McKenzie Clinic in Poland and eighty-third Clinic in the whole world. We offer treatment based on the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT).

Thanks to highly qualified therapists, two of whom possess the Diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (the highest certification in MDT), we are able to treat various spinal diseases and disorders. Among them, there are:

- upper or lower back pain,
- Sciatica,
- functional problems such as: Difficulty bending because of stiffness or pain in lower back,
- pain that starts in the back or neck and  spread to the buttocks or shoulders,
- intermittent pins and needles or numbness in the feet or hands,
- cervicogenic headaches.

What does the treatment look like?

1. Assesment- First the clinician takes   a patient’s detailed history. Than check of present symptoms behaviour up to the repeated movement test and static procedures. Thanks to that we get insight into problems’ nature.

2.Classification- the patient is classified into particular mechanical syndromes. Each of them has its own nature, symptoms’ response and prognosis.

3. Treatment – we provide the patient with specific exercises or static positions so as to determine the problem’s nature.   In most cases patient is independent of the clinician during the therapy. Nevertheless, when it is required we add hands-on techniques until  a patient can self-manage. Additionally we give advice on which positions, movement one should temporarily avoid or how one should modify his/her behavior  in order to support the treatment .

Thanks to patient’s active involvement we can minimize the number of visits in the clinic.
